The unanswered questions answered

“Epicurus’s old questions are still unanswered: Is he (God) willing to prevent evil, but not able? then he is impotent. Is he able, but not willing? then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? then whence evil?”

― David Hume

God created us for a love relationship with Himself.  To love we must have a free will to choose to love or not to love.  With that choice comes the possibility not to love which is evil.  To prevent evil is to prevent free will and prevent love.

When Adam and Eve chose to know good and evil they were deciding to reject God as their Source and be their own gods: deciding what is good and making themselves do it, deciding what is bad and making themselves not to do that.  But they couldn’t. They were never meant to. Their spirits that related them to God died.  All the generations of man were in Adam and Eve and they inherited this dead spirit.  Even the ones that did not sin as Adam and Eve did.

Evil weaved its destruction of men but God unweaved evil into good before time began by crucifying Christ before the foundation of the world.  At the proper time the hoped for Redeemer died for all sin for all people.  When He was raised we who trust Him received a new perfect spirit from God that is joined to Christ and we become one spirit with him.  When Jesus said, “It is finished” on the cross He meant that the relationship between God and man was restored.  Through trusting Jesus God has made a way back to Himself.

All the evil weaved against me has been unweaved by God.  I will be completely healed in heaven.  I have the great joy now of choosing to know and love God.  And He will never leave me nor forsake me.

100% JESUS

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:14,27
