Jesus wants you

Foreknew (προγινώσκω) to know beforehand

Romans 8:29a (NASB95)
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son

This verse does not say that God chose us and excluded others. It says that He knew beforehand if we would respond to Him.

2 Peter 3:9c (NASB95)
9 The Lord . . . (is) not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

The above verse means He wants you.

The Lord knew I was perishing because I thought I was good enough, better than others. So, He gave me mental illness for ten years until I had nothing and was ready to accept Him as my Savior. (Then He called me . . .)

Repentance does not mean to clean yourself up to give yourself to God, either. That is impossible. Repentance means you change your mind about sin and ask JESUS to give you a new perfect spirit from Him.

Ezekiel 36:26a (NASB95)
26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you

And getting a perfect new spirit doesn’t mean you will have immediate perfect new actions, either. Your soul (thinker, feeler, chooser) is not your spirit and isn’t new or perfect. However, now as you obey Jesus the lies you believe that drive your wrong actions are replaced with the truth, and your soul is renewed.

Romans 12:2 (NASB95)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Jesus would rather die than live in eternity without you, so He did. He loves you so much that He has done everything so you can live with Him forever. He knows how hard life is. He knows our weaknesses, our faults and our failings. He doesn’t fault you. He took the blame Himself. There is nothing He would not do in your best interest. Even Mental Illness has become a blessing to me because God uses it as a platform for me to tell all people how much Jesus loves them, just as they are, mental illness or not.

He loves you, He is waiting right now to hear from you. Take that leap of faith. He will catch you, every time.

What would you want Jesus to do?

Jesus got to shore and was met by a man who had been acting “crazy” most of his life.

The man lived naked among the graves and no one could control him. The man pulled to pieces any chains he was in and he often cried out; cutting himself with stones.

Jesus had compassion on the man. But he couldn’t help him.

You see, this man was of another religion and it was against the law to convert him to following Jesus, which Jesus knew would happen if Jesus healed him.

Also, the media had been misreporting that when Jesus said, “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God” that Jesus was really rebelling against the government and advocating that people not pay lawful taxes.

What would they report if he removed evil spirits from a man not considered competent to give informed consent?

And what about the people who said mental illness was a myth? What if they said Jesus should value the man’s differences, not judge his lifestyle, and coexist with him?

And what about the mental health community? They don’t believe in demons. They would be offended if Jesus cast out demons into pigs, and the pigs immediately committed suicide, proving that demons do exist. They might lobby to have Jesus’ license to practice counseling revoked.

And what about the owners of the pigs? Did Jesus ask permission to send demons into them? Was Jesus going to pay restitution?

What if you were the man or woman standing there in front of Jesus, with your future and your sanity hanging in the balance. What would you want Jesus to do?

The above was my response to the politics of 2016. The below is what might be actually happening now and may be worse and should be satire.

And so I have questions.

In the UK is politically incorrect thought/prayer near abortion clinics now a crime?

Was the U.S. president’s speech full of distortions about U.S. “MAGA” voters? Were “MAGA” voters vilified by the U.S. president for the crime of having a different point of view?

Could emails that were found and released by Elon Musk be interpreted as First Amendment Freedom of Speech censorship prompted by the government?

Was a U.S. government agency weaponized to intimidate those who are against the legalized killing of babies in the womb?

Are pharmacy companies talking about creating disease so they can make money healing the people they infect?

Why would someone get “fired” right after standing up to big pharma? Would that cast suspicion on the Board that “fired” you?

Bad is portrayed as good.

Good is censored.

Dear Jesus,

we need

You.

Stand up 4 _____

Stand up 4 Freedom, including freedom of speech, including freedom from government censorship through private business

Stand up 4 personal rights (not the license masquerading as “sovereignty” by some), including all medical decisions, including no penalty for not taking mRNA

Stand up 4 those who have no voice, like those being murdered in their mother’s womb

Stand up 4 the elderly, the disabled, for those without personal power to help themselves and defend themselves and work in their own best interest

Stand up 4 responsible, law-abiding gun owners so they can defend themselves and their country

Stand up 4 Freedom of Religion, including Christianity, that at the founding allowed all religions into the country by not making this a Christian only country

Stand up 4 Election integrity, safeguards protecting the count from the counter

Stand up 4 the Constitution, that is being trampled on by the very people who took an oath to defend it
