Before time began, Love was thinking of you . . .

When God was contemplating creating men and women – in his image – he had a lot to think about. He decided that, like himself, he would make them able to decide for themselves if they wanted to love Love or whether they would rather live for themselves. God knew before the foundation of the earth that though God would make men and women Very Good, Adam would fail to protect Eve, Eve would be deceived by satan and men and women would rebel against him, against Love. God decided that the soul that rebelled against Love could not live with him, it must have its own place to exist away from the Love it hated with such passion. Previously God had made a place for satan and demons, and God now decided this is where those people who hated Love would reside after they had died a Second time.

Though all people would hate Love, Love loved all people, each person individually. Love decided he would take the place of people that hated him and suffer and die for their wrongs himself. And so Love was crucified before the foundations of the world. And God decided, Love would rise again to bring Love to all that wanted him.

Who doesn’t Jesus love?

Jesus loves the mentally ill.
Jesus loves the mentally healthy.
Jesus loves those in a one-man, one-woman married relationship.
Jesus loves those who are not.
Jesus loves the scrupulously honest.
Jesus loves those who tell black, white and various-shades-of-grey lies.
Jesus loves the doctor who ends the life of an unborn person.
Jesus loves that unborn person.
Jesus loves that unborn person’s mother.
Jesus loves the person who believes they were predestined to be saved.
Jesus loves the person who believes they were not.
Jesus loves Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Catholics, Protestants and all religious people.
Jesus loves the person that believes there is no God.
Jesus loves the person who rejects Him.
Jesus loves the person who commits the unforgivable sin.

Jesus loves ALL people just the way they are.
And ALL need Him.
Even me. Even you.
And ALL can choose to receive Him as Savior, Lord and Friend.
If they are willing to turn away from their evil attitudes and actions WITH JESUS’ HELP.
And trust Jesus to forgive their evil attitudes and actions.
And trust Jesus to give them His Resurrection Life.

You have a choice . . .

Jesus never forces Himself on anyone. He may go to extremes to get your attention, though. He gave me 10 years of mental illness (and I did not take correct meds) until He had humbled me. Jesus took away everything I had until I had nothing to lose by accepting him. I was still proud, still rude and still disrespectful. I grudgingly accepted Him and because of His great humility he gave me His Life with Him forever. I am so thankful that Jesus loved me enough to send me through suffering so that I would be able to think clearly enough to accept him. He never forced Himself on me, but He did get my attention to give me a choice.

The “Apostle Paul” was killing “Christians.” Jesus knocked the “Apostle Paul” to the ground with a blinding light and “Paul” could not see for 3 days. Jesus did not force Himself on Paul, but He did get Paul’s attention so Paul could make a choice.

It was considered the highest honor be the first to receive the bread dipped in sop. Jesus reserved this honor for Judas at the last supper. Jesus loved Judas and this was a last effort to win Judas from what Judas was about to do (betray Jesus). Jesus did not force Himself on Judas, but Jesus did get Judas’ attention so Judas could make a choice.

Jesus will not force Himself on you. Jesus may be using this essay to get your attention. If He is you could possibly skip mental illness, skip blinding light and make a better choice than Judas made.

It’s your choice.

100% JESUS

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:14,27
