All of life is uncertain . . . except Jesus’ love and care. He is the only constant in an ever changing world. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. A bruised reed He will not break . . . and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. Until He leads justice to victory. Captives to freedom. And the good news is preached to the poor (in spirit).
What is this good news? That Jesus’s death paid for all sin for all people for all time. That in His resurrection He gives a new, perfect spirit to all who trust Him to make them righteous. He seals us with the Holy Spirit, a guarantee of Heaven to come, regardless of our future failures.
He is God. And He loves us. Period.
