A different concept of conflict . . .

2 Corinthians 10:4–5 (NASB95)

4      . . .for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

5      We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. . .

Followers of Jesus have a different concept of conflict. Our goal is not to destroy the one against us or against the Truth, but rather that they may have the chance to know the Truth for themselves. When they realize we are not against them, but rather against evil, they have a choice to make. They can listen to the Truth, follow the Truth, and ask the Truth to live in them. Or, they can reject the Truth and go their own way. They will then find they will be fighting against God. Justice will be done by God, and they will find themselves forever without God.

Our “weapons” are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, long-suffering, truth, justice, mercy, forgiveness . . .  The “fortresses” we are destroying by these “weapons” are lies, deceit, injustice, hatred of God, hatred of people, and thoughts against the love of Jesus. There is no law against this.

Jesus’ love for evil people is greater than their evil actions

What President Biden, his handlers, and the rest of the communists don’t understand is that Christians who trust Jesus aren’t afraid of them.

They can take our possessions, our freedom, our lives. But Jesus said to us:

4 “I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do.
Luke 12:4 (NASB95)

Why do we not fear? Because our King, our Friend and our God takes care of us personally.

And because tyrants cannot instill fear in those who trust Jesus, tyrants have no power over them.

We who trust Jesus will NOT fight with guns or anything else. We will not fight physically at all.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
2 Corinthians 10:3–4 (NASB95)

The above verses are NOT saying we who trust Jesus will physically: fight, war, or destroy anyone or anything. The “flesh” means using our own strength. We will NOT use our own strength. We will use divinely powerful strength, that is, the Word of God (Jesus) and Talking to Jesus (prayer). And the Father will send Jesus through His Holy Spirit in power.

Jesus will intercede on our behalf, and He will use the Words of the Bible to tell the truth about anyone who has lied, deceived, betrayed, taken bribes, and murdered.

20   Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

21   Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever in their own sight!

23   Who justify the wicked for a bribe,
And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!
Isaiah 5 (NASB95)

What does “woe to” mean in this case? “Woe to” only means that when those who have done these things stand before Jesus, they will no longer be able to lie to themselves or deny the truth of what they have done. They will know they did it, it was their fault, it was their choice, it was their responsibility. They will know that Jesus offered forgiveness and Himself to them and they spit in His face. And for the rest of eternity, they will ask themselves over and over: Why didn’t I love Him when I had the chance?

But wait.

This is not how it has to end.

Jesus loves President Biden (not his actions), He loves President Biden’s handlers (not their actions) and He loves communists (not communism or communists’ actions).

5   For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.
Psalm 86:5 (NASB95)

If President Biden, or anyone, will call out to Jesus in truth Jesus will hear
them with “abundant . . . lovingkindness.” Because He is “good, and ready to forgive.”

So, go ahead. Change your destiny. Call on Him. He is waiting to hear from you right now.

Jesus wants you

Foreknew (προγινώσκω) to know beforehand

Romans 8:29a (NASB95)
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son

This verse does not say that God chose us and excluded others. It says that He knew beforehand if we would respond to Him.

2 Peter 3:9c (NASB95)
9 The Lord . . . (is) not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

The above verse means He wants you.

The Lord knew I was perishing because I thought I was good enough, better than others. So, He gave me mental illness for ten years until I had nothing and was ready to accept Him as my Savior. (Then He called me . . .)

Repentance does not mean to clean yourself up to give yourself to God, either. That is impossible. Repentance means you change your mind about sin and ask JESUS to give you a new perfect spirit from Him.

Ezekiel 36:26a (NASB95)
26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you

And getting a perfect new spirit doesn’t mean you will have immediate perfect new actions, either. Your soul (thinker, feeler, chooser) is not your spirit and isn’t new or perfect. However, now as you obey Jesus the lies you believe that drive your wrong actions are replaced with the truth, and your soul is renewed.

Romans 12:2 (NASB95)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Jesus would rather die than live in eternity without you, so He did. He loves you so much that He has done everything so you can live with Him forever. He knows how hard life is. He knows our weaknesses, our faults and our failings. He doesn’t fault you. He took the blame Himself. There is nothing He would not do in your best interest. Even Mental Illness has become a blessing to me because God uses it as a platform for me to tell all people how much Jesus loves them, just as they are, mental illness or not.

He loves you, He is waiting right now to hear from you. Take that leap of faith. He will catch you, every time.

100% JESUS

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:14,27
