The framers of the U.S. Constitution feared “We the People” might someday be overtaken by “We the U.S. Government.” If you don’t think Government tyranny exists right now, you have been watching censored media. Whether you love Trump or hate him, he is experiencing election interference by Biden and the U.S. Government. Pro-lifers (who volunteered to turn themselves in and were denied) were traumatized by being arrested with many guns being pointed at them days later. Parents are assigned “Domestic Terrorists” labels for rightly calling out school board officials. Catholics are being targeted simply for being followers of Jesus.
If you are actively working to right these wrongs, I applaud you and please write me. If you are not, there is a book that you might want to read:
Letter to the American Church, by Eric Metaxas, Salem Books, ISBN: 978-1-68451-389-5.
With the rise of Hitler, Germany in the 1930’s and 1940’s headed down a path of disaster. The German church could have stopped it, but they believed lies about themselves – the church – and what the church should and should not do to intervene. The United States is paralleling Germany’s disaster, and the American Church can stop it, if they don’t believe the same lies that the German church did. Eric Metaxas writes a concise diagnosis and prescription for the American churches’ dysfunction in Letter to the American Church.
I am going to lovingly, peacefully, and legally take political action.
How about you?
